1: Positioning and Marking
Locate the installation point according to the design drawing.
Use a laser or level to mark the exact center point on the structure.
Verify that the support alignment matches the pipe layout and orientation.
2: Install the UTTH10 Base
Drill holes at the marked points (the hole diameter should be 1ā2 mm larger than the anchor bolt).
Insert expansion or chemical anchor bolts into the drilled holes.
Place the UTTH10 base in position.
Fasten it using M12 or 1/2″ bolts and tighten securely.
Recommended tightening torque: 45ā55 NĀ·m
Ensure the base is level and in full contact with the structure.
3: Attach the Channel Steel and Pipe Support
Connect the channel steel (main seismic support beam) to the UTTH10 base using appropriate bolts.
Tighten bolts to ensure firm attachment.
Install the bracing rod or seismic arm at the designed angle.
Verify there is no looseness or misalignment.
If connected to a sprinkler or HVAC pipe, make sure the pipe is centered and stress-free.
4: Inspection and Verification
ā Check the following items carefully:
All bolts are tightened to the required torque.
The base plate is flush with the structure.
Zinc coating is intact (no scratches or corrosion).
The installation angle and direction conform to design drawings.
The overall bracing system is continuous and structurally stable.
